ecojot is an eco-friendly stationery brand that is based in Scarborough, Ontario created in 2007 by designer Carolyn Gavin, her brother Mark Gavin and family.
Our products feature Carolyn’s whimsical designs which often include inspirational quotes and most recently hand painted designs. We specialize in a variety of journals, sketchbooks, children’s sketchbooks, wrap, calendars and notecards. The paper content used is 100% post-consumer recycled and all products are designed and printed in Canada.
ecojot also has a long and successful track record of working with organizations on creating unique designs. We have worked with the Jane Goodall Institute and Canopy on creating limited edition designs.
We are more then an eco-friendly stationery company, we are committed to giving back one journal at a time. The “GIVE” program started in 2010 and uses a simple premise: With the sale of each 5x7”, Jumbo journal and all eco sketchbooks, ecojot will donate a school workbook or pencil to a child in need. Learn more about our BUY 1, GIVE 1 program.

(via wineplanks - about)
Wineplanks creates unique pieces of homewares from recycled oak wine barrels. Each piece is individually handcrafted using barrels that were originally used in making some of the finest wines in Canada. The subtle colours and characteristics in the wood are produced by the wine penetrating the oak, which in turn imbibes flavour into the final wine.
Every piece is handcrafted, giving each its own unique personality.
Wineplanks has been featured in ‘Canadian Living’, ‘Canadian House and Home’ and ‘Vines’ magazines.
